Description
The aim of the seminar is to convey a holistic understanding of the planning and construction of complex process engineering plant construction projects in the process industry in the area of tension between functionality, public law requirements, costs and deadlines. In addition, tasks and solutions for project management as well as planning for technical content, interaction of specialist trades and organizational processes are shown and illustrated with examples. Determining boundary conditions from technical law/approval procedures as well as from the interests of those involved/contracts in plant construction are explained.
The planning as well as the construction of modern process engineering production plants requires effective cooperation between experts from many disciplines and different companies. Approaches that have been tried and tested in practice for the successful implementation of such projects from the feasibility study to commissioning are presented from the perspective of a project manager and explained with examples. Planners from the various specialist disciplines learn to better understand how they are embedded in the project as a whole.
